Getting started with web scraping

New here? Here's how to go from signup to your first completed scraping job in a few minutes.

1. Choose a target

Enter any URL, or pick one of the ready-made templates (Amazon, eBay, Walmart and more) for automatic field extraction. See the pricing page for what's included in each plan.

2. Pick an output format

Choose JSON, HTML, Markdown or CSV depending on how you plan to use the data. You can change this per job.

3. Start scraping

Submit the job from your dashboard or the API. It runs in the background — track its status from the Scraping Jobs page.

4. Get your results

Once a job completes, view the extracted data or download it directly from the Results page.

5. Automate with the API

Generate an API key from your dashboard and submit jobs programmatically — see the API documentation for endpoints and examples.
